On the water’s edge: Idyllic bungalow and guest house with garden, wonderful views and pier

On this secluded waterfront property, which served as the residence of the previous owners for more than 20 years, there is a bungalow which was built in 2005 and a thatched guest house which was built in 1995. Both houses are in extremely good condition and provide about 120 m² of living area, taken together.

The open living area provides space for a comfortable kitchen, which is connected to a utility room, as well as a large dining area. There is an additional room which can be used as a study or a second bedroom.

Outdoors, a total of three generously-proportioned patios invite you to linger, one with a large awning and various seats, each one for 2-4 people, as well as a large natural stone table with 10 seats just underneath an old coppiced willow. The garden not only has an enchanting collection of old trees, with chestnut, maple, fruit trees and willow, but the lovingly arranged garden paths, which are set with natural stone, and surrounded by roses, lavender, hydrangeas and rhododendron, invite you to enjoy a stroll in your own little kingdom. We must not forget the greenhouse, of course, which invites one to experiment, and may well awaken passions which were hitherto unknown. Numerous connections for water and power (the carport also has a three-phase supply) simplify the management of house and garden. The carport is also suitable for use as a workshop and has a large parking area paved with natural stone.
