Built in 2005, this very solid detached wooden house has about 155 m² of living area spread across two floors, a beautiful garden, a separate garage with an electric garage door and many splendid extras, including a fireplace and two outdoor decks made of balau wood. Here, tasteful flowerbeds, elegant broadleaf trees, and beautiful fruit trees alternate with areas of lawn and delicate bushes. Bamboo hedges provide a dense natural visual screen around the property. In the garden there is also a woodshed with six separate chambers, as well as a toolshed. A staircase of pest resistant red cedar takes one up to the upper floor of the house. The upper floor consists of three bedrooms, a storage room, and the tiled bathroom, which has a bathtub and two handbasins. The house is optimised for energy efficiency and heated by means of underfloor heating.

The architectural concept and the high standard of construction mean that this house fits into the surrounding forests and undisturbed nature perfectly. In the middle of the beautiful and much-loved landscape of Barnim, with its many pristine lakes, this house is located just north of Berlin. It is only a 45-minute drive to the heart of the capital and the lakes of Liepnitzsee, Wandlitzer See and Rahmersee are quite literally “just around the corner”.
